BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 2026
- 100% ADVANCE PAYMENT: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless Thailand Travelers has expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Full advance payment confirms and secures the booking but does not eliminate mandatory cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.
- CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation charges may reach 100% of the applicable booking or service price, particularly for late cancellations, no-shows and qualifying non-refundable third-party services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- REBOOKING: Where reasonably possible, we encourage customers to rebook rather than cancel.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation coverage, immediately after booking.

These Terms apply to direct traveller bookings (“B2C”), business-to-business bookings (“B2B”), and travel services provided by third-party suppliers, subject to the provisions below.
All bookings are subject to applicable Thai law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or waives any statutory consumer or passenger right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

2. SERVICES
Thailand Travelers may provide and/or arrange services including:
- hotels and other accommodation;
- private and shared transfers;
- tours and excursions;
- activities and experiences;
- professional guides;
- domestic and international flights;
- boats, ferries and other transportation;
- private and group tours;
- tailor-made travel arrangements;
- attraction and event tickets;
- packages combining several travel services; and
- other travel-related services.
Some services are provided directly by Thailand Travelers, while others are provided by independent third-party suppliers.
The services included in each booking are stated in the applicable quotation, itinerary, invoice and/or booking confirmation.
3. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
A booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
A booking becomes confirmed only after:
- Thailand Travelers has issued a written booking confirmation or invoice; and
- the required payment has been received.
Availability, prices and supplier conditions may change until the booking has been confirmed.
Customers are responsible for checking all names, dates, destinations, flights, hotels and other booking information immediately after receiving confirmation.
Any error must be reported to us without unreasonable delay.
4. 100% ADVANCE PAYMENT
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing:
- 100% of the total booking price is payable in advance at the time of booking.
- Full payment is required before the booking can be finally confirmed.
Thailand Travelers may, at its discretion, agree to a different payment schedule for certain B2B, group, event or tailor-made bookings.
The requirement for 100% advance payment does not mean that statutory cancellation or refund rights are waived.
Any refund entitlement will be determined in accordance with these Terms, applicable supplier conditions and mandatory applicable law.
5. PRICES
Prices are quoted in the currency stated in the quotation, booking page or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are calculated according to the:
- travel dates;
- number of travellers;
- selected services;
- accommodation category;
- transportation arrangements; and
- itinerary specified at the time of booking.
Changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
Where permitted by law, newly introduced or increased government taxes, entrance fees, airport charges, fuel surcharges or other mandatory charges may be charged additionally.
6. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
All cancellations must be submitted to Thailand Travelers in writing.
The cancellation date is the date on which Thailand Travelers receives the written cancellation request.
For tour services subject to mandatory Thai tourism law, statutory cancellation and refund requirements shall apply.
Unless different mandatory rules apply, the general framework for qualifying tour services is:
- 30 days or more before commencement: The traveller shall receive the refund required under applicable Thai law, generally up to 100% of the applicable tour service price, subject to deductions permitted by law for qualifying costs actually incurred.
- 15–29 days before commencement: The traveller shall receive the refund required under applicable Thai law, generally 50% of the applicable tour service price, subject to deductions permitted by law.
- Less than 15 days before commencement: Generally no refund, to the extent permitted by applicable Thai law.
Where mandatory applicable law provides more favourable rights to the traveller, mandatory law shall prevail.
7. ACTUAL AND NON-RECOVERABLE COSTS
Where permitted by applicable law, Thailand Travelers may deduct qualifying costs that have actually been incurred in arranging or securing the booking.
These may include, where applicable:
- airline tickets;
- airline deposits;
- hotel deposits or charges;
- villas and private accommodation;
- train tickets;
- ferry or boat tickets;
- attraction and event tickets;
- activity reservations;
- transportation reservations;
- guide commitments;
- visa-related charges;
- private charters;
- supplier reservation charges; and
- other necessary costs incurred specifically for the booking.
Where required by law, Thailand Travelers will maintain reasonable evidence of such expenses.
A third-party supplier describing a service as “non-refundable” does not override mandatory statutory rights applicable to a B2C traveller.
8. REBOOKING
Where reasonably possible, Thailand Travelers encourages rebooking rather than cancellation.
Subject to availability and supplier conditions, we may offer:
- alternative travel dates;
- replacement services;
- travel credit; or
- another mutually agreed travel arrangement.
Rebooking may result in additional costs, including:
- airfare differences;
- seasonal price differences;
- hotel price differences;
- supplier amendment charges;
- taxes;
- government charges; and
- other costs caused by the requested change.
Where a traveller is legally entitled to a refund, a voucher, travel credit or rebooking will not replace that refund without the traveller's agreement where such agreement is required by applicable law.
9. SPECIAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE RATES
Certain individual services may be offered under special, promotional or non-refundable supplier rates.
These may include:
- airline tickets;
- promotional hotel rates;
- villas;
- cruises;
- private charters;
- special events;
- peak-season accommodation;
- attraction tickets; and
- specially procured services.
Where reasonably possible, material special conditions will be disclosed during the booking process or in the booking confirmation.
For B2C bookings, any designation such as “non-refundable” applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law.
10. HOTELS AND ACCOMMODATION
Hotel and accommodation bookings may additionally be subject to the conditions of the relevant accommodation provider.
Check-in and check-out times, security deposits, incidental charges, room configurations, child policies and operational requirements are determined by the accommodation provider.
Cancellation and amendment conditions applicable to the selected accommodation will apply subject to mandatory applicable law.
11. FLIGHTS
Flights are subject to the airline's applicable:
- conditions of carriage;
- fare rules;
- baggage regulations;
- cancellation conditions; and
- amendment conditions.
Airfares may be refundable, partially refundable, non-refundable, changeable subject to fees or non-changeable.
Where an airline cancels, substantially delays or materially changes a flight, mandatory passenger rights under applicable aviation law remain unaffected.
Thailand Travelers will not restrict any statutory refund, rerouting, rebooking, care or compensation right applicable to the passenger.
12. TOURS, EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Tours, excursions and activities may be subject to:
- minimum participant requirements;
- weather conditions;
- safety requirements;
- age restrictions;
- physical requirements;
- local authority restrictions; and
- supplier operating conditions.
Thailand Travelers or the relevant operator may make reasonable changes to routes, sequences, schedules or operational arrangements where reasonably necessary for safety or operational reasons.
13. TRANSFERS
Travellers are responsible for providing correct arrival, departure, flight and accommodation information.
Failure to appear at the agreed pickup location or providing incorrect information that results in a missed transfer may be treated as a no-show.
Additional transportation required because of traveller delay, incorrect information or missed connections may be charged separately.
14. NO-SHOW AND UNUSED SERVICES
Failure to appear for a confirmed service without prior cancellation constitutes a No-Show.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, no refund will normally be provided for:
- no-shows;
- voluntarily unused services;
- missed tours caused by the traveller;
- missed transfers caused by incorrect information supplied by the traveller; or
- services voluntarily abandoned after travel has commenced.
15. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE TRAVELLER
Requests for amendments must be submitted in writing.
Thailand Travelers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes but cannot guarantee supplier acceptance or availability.
The traveller is responsible for applicable additional costs, including supplier fees and price differences.
16. GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers issued by Thailand Travelers may be used only toward eligible future bookings with Thailand Travelers, subject to the terms stated on the applicable Gift Voucher.
16.1 No Cash Redemption
Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and have no cash payout value, except where a cash refund is expressly required by mandatory applicable law.
16.2 Use for Bookings Only
Gift Vouchers may only be applied toward eligible travel services booked through Thailand Travelers. A Gift Voucher cannot be used to obtain a cash payment, cash advance or other monetary reimbursement.
16.3 Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, a Gift Voucher cannot be applied toward or used to offset cancellation fees, cancellation charges, non-refundable supplier costs or other amounts that become payable as a result of the cancellation.
Where a booking was originally paid in whole or in part using a Gift Voucher, the treatment of the voucher value following cancellation will be determined in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions, the terms of the Gift Voucher and mandatory applicable law.
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, cancellation does not convert Gift Voucher value into a right to receive cash.
16.4 Additional Payment
If the value of the selected booking exceeds the available Gift Voucher value, the customer must pay the remaining balance using an accepted payment method.
16.5 Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these Gift Voucher conditions excludes or restricts any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Thai law.
17. CANCELLATION OR MATERIAL CHANGE BY THAILAND TRAVELERS
If Thailand Travelers is unable to provide a material part of the confirmed travel arrangements, we may offer a reasonable alternative where permitted by law.
Where mandatory applicable law gives the traveller the right to choose between an alternative service, rebooking and refund, that statutory choice will be respected.
Thailand Travelers will not require a traveller to accept a voucher or travel credit instead of a monetary refund where applicable law requires a monetary refund or requires the traveller's consent.
18. FORCE MAJEURE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
Circumstances beyond reasonable control may include:
- natural disasters;
- severe weather;
- floods;
- earthquakes;
- epidemics or pandemics;
- government restrictions;
- civil disturbances;
- strikes;
- airport closures;
- transportation disruptions;
- security incidents; and
- other extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where such circumstances affect a booking, Thailand Travelers may reasonably modify, postpone or cancel affected services where necessary.
Any refund, rebooking or credit entitlement will be determined in accordance with mandatory applicable law, the circumstances of the booking and applicable supplier arrangements.
Nothing in this section excludes mandatory statutory refund rights.
19. TRAVEL INSURANCE – STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
Thailand Travelers strongly recommends that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking.
Appropriate insurance should preferably provide coverage for:
- trip cancellation;
- trip interruption;
- illness;
- accident;
- emergency medical treatment;
- evacuation;
- repatriation;
- flight disruption;
- missed connections;
- baggage loss or delay;
- personal liability; and
- other unforeseen circumstances.
It is the traveller's responsibility to verify the scope, exclusions, deductibles and coverage limits of their insurance.
Travel insurance does not replace or restrict mandatory statutory rights against Thailand Travelers or another service provider.
20. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Unless expressly included as a booked service, travellers are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid:
- passports;
- visas;
- entry permits;
- health documentation; and
- other documents required for travel.
Thailand Travelers may provide general assistance or information but cannot guarantee entry into Thailand or any other country.
Decisions of immigration, customs, health authorities and other governmental authorities are outside our control.
21. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Travellers are responsible for considering whether selected tours and activities are suitable for their personal circumstances.
Travellers must comply with reasonable safety instructions provided by guides, drivers, activity operators and other suppliers.
Participation may be refused where a person's conduct creates a serious safety risk to themselves or others, subject to applicable law.
22. TRAVELLER CONDUCT
Travellers must comply with applicable laws and reasonable instructions of Thailand Travelers and its suppliers.
Thailand Travelers may restrict or terminate services where a traveller engages in unlawful, abusive, dangerous or seriously disruptive behaviour.
Additional costs caused by such behaviour may be charged to the responsible traveller to the extent permitted by law.
23. INDEPENDENT SUPPLIERS
Hotels, airlines, transport operators, restaurants, activity providers and other third parties may operate as independent suppliers.
Their applicable operational and booking conditions may form part of the customer's travel arrangements.
The use of an independent supplier does not exclude or limit any responsibility of Thailand Travelers that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. SUPPLIER CONDITIONS
Supplier-specific conditions may apply in addition to these Terms.
A supplier may require:
- advance payment;
- deposits;
- non-refundable rates;
- special cancellation periods;
- amendment fees;
- minimum stays; or
- other booking conditions.
Where relevant, material supplier restrictions may be communicated in the quotation, booking process, invoice or booking confirmation.
For B2C bookings, supplier conditions remain subject to mandatory applicable consumer and tourism law.
25. B2B – TRAVEL AGENTS, TOUR OPERATORS AND CORPORATE CLIENTS
A B2B booking means a booking made by a travel agency, tour operator, company, organisation, reseller or other person acting in the course of business.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, 100% advance payment is required for B2B bookings.
Separately negotiated B2B conditions may establish different:
- payment schedules;
- deposits;
- cancellation schedules;
- release periods;
- group conditions;
- supplier charges;
- credit arrangements; and
- amendment fees.
Where permitted by applicable law, non-refundable supplier commitments expressly disclosed to and accepted by the B2B client remain payable following cancellation.
The B2B client is responsible for complying with applicable laws governing its relationship with its own customers.
Nothing in a B2B agreement waives mandatory rights belonging directly to an end traveller where such rights legally apply.
26. GROUPS AND SPECIAL EVENTS
Groups, MICE arrangements, weddings, conferences, events, private charters and other bespoke arrangements may be subject to separate booking, deposit, payment and cancellation conditions.
Any special conditions communicated and accepted in writing form part of the applicable booking agreement.
27. REFUNDS
Where a refund is legally or contractually due, Thailand Travelers will normally refund the original payer and, where reasonably possible, use the original payment method.
Processing may depend on:
- third-party supplier refunds;
- banks;
- card issuers;
- payment processors; and
- documentation reasonably required to process the refund.
Thailand Travelers will not unreasonably delay a refund required by mandatory law.
Bank charges, currency conversion and payment processing costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider rules.
28. CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE RATES
Where payments or refunds involve currency conversion, the final amount may vary due to exchange-rate movements and charges imposed by banks or payment providers.
Thailand Travelers is not responsible for exchange-rate differences or third-party banking charges except where applicable law provides otherwise.
29. LIABILITY
Thailand Travelers will perform its contractual obligations with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Thailand Travelers is not responsible for losses resulting solely from:
- acts or omissions of the traveller;
- unforeseeable acts of unrelated third parties;
- failure to meet passport, visa or entry requirements;
- decisions of government authorities; or
- extraordinary circumstances outside our reasonable control.
30. COMPLAINTS
Travellers should notify Thailand Travelers of any problem as soon as reasonably possible during the trip so that we have an opportunity to assist.
Complaints made after travel should be submitted in writing with relevant supporting information and documentation.
Nothing in this provision prevents a customer from exercising statutory consumer or complaint rights.
31. PERSONAL DATA
Personal information may be processed to administer bookings and provide the requested travel services.
Information may need to be shared with relevant:
- hotels;
- airlines;
- transport operators;
- activity providers;
- guides;
- payment providers;
- governmental authorities; and
- other service providers.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including applicable requirements of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act.
Further information may be provided in our Privacy Policy.
32. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and bookings made with Thailand Travelers Int. Co., Ltd. shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, subject to any mandatory law applicable to the particular customer or transaction.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of mandatory protections that cannot lawfully be waived by agreement.
33. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any invalid provision shall be interpreted or adjusted only to the minimum extent necessary to comply with applicable law.
34. PRIORITY OF MANDATORY LAW
If any provision of these Terms, supplier conditions, booking confirmation or other contractual document conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision shall prevail.
Terms such as “non-refundable”, “final”, “100% cancellation charge” or similar wording are not intended to waive any statutory refund, consumer or passenger right that cannot legally be waived.
35. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By completing a booking and submitting payment, the customer confirms that they have been given reasonable access to these Booking Terms & Conditions and agrees to them, subject always to mandatory applicable law.
Where booking is completed through our website, customers may be required to actively confirm acceptance of these Terms before payment.
