The James Bond Island Tour is one of Thailand’s most popular and visually spectacular excursions, offering a blend of cinematic history, geological wonder, and unique local culture. James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan & Ko Tapu):
The main attraction is Ko Tapu („Nail Island“), the 20-meter tall islet made famous by the 1974 James Bond film, The Man with the Golden Gun, where it served as the villain Scaramanga’s lair.
You will disembark at the neighboring Khao Phing Kan („Hills Leaning Against Each Other“), where you can take photos of the iconic needle-shaped rock and explore the small caves and beaches.
Sea Cave Canoeing at Hong or Panak Island:
A thrilling part of the trip involves paddling a canoe (often guided) through mysterious sea caves and narrow karst tunnels.
These caves open up into beautiful, secluded „Hongs“ (rooms) or lagoons hidden within the centers of the islands, offering a truly unique natural experience and amazing photo opportunities.
Koh Panyee Floating Village:
Experience authentic local life with a stop at Koh Panyee, a vibrant Muslim fishing village built entirely on stilts over the water.
Here, you will typically enjoy a delicious Thai buffet lunch and have time to walk the wooden walkways, observe the mosque, the school, and browse the local souvenir shops.
Panoramic Views & Nature:

Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
